There are two classes of hubby, a Technical hubby and a General hubby. A Tech hubby will fix the more complicated problems, plumbing, electrical etc., and a General hubby takes care of the less involved jobs such as walking the dog, or cutting the grass. Which you choose will depend on the work you want done. Househubbies work by the day (8hrs) or half day.

A Tech Hubby charges £70 for a 1/2 day and £120 for a full day.
and a General hubby £60 per 1/2 and £100 for a full day.

So the maximum you will be charged for a full days work is £120.

Consider an example, if you call a plumber, he'll fit new taps in 3 hours, then add together his call out charge and hourly rate, give you a bill for £120 and go home. A Hubby will install the new taps, fit a new door lock, tidy the loft and then do the ironing and washing up, .....the point is........



HouseHubbies supply all the smaller items needed in home maintenance, items such as screws, tacks, tap washers, rawl plugs for walls, glues, filler etc. etc. What we don't provide are the major items, new taps, copper pipe, roof tiles, cement, paint etc. etc. Once we have a list of your requirements we can advise as to what should be bought or ordered. If you ask us to, Hubbies will be happy to order whatever you need, we simply pass the cost on to you with a 10% handling charge. We provide all the technical assistance you will need, but the purchase of large items must remain the responsibility of the customer. That way, you know exactly how much you've paid for your goods, our charges remain constant, and you know to the penny, what you will pay at the end of every day.
